What is Advancing Scientific Careers and Excellence in Physician Development (ASCEND)?
ASCEND is a new initiative on behalf of the DGSOM Office of Physician-Scientist Career Development (OPSCD) and Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) to provide a future series of seminars and small group meetings to provide a forum for housestaff, fellows, and early faculty at DGSOM to encourage and facilitate the potential for future research careers as physician scientists. We look forward to joining with you and other early career investigators to discuss the wide range of career paths that are open for exploration and ways to launch a successful career.
