A first-year certificate program that introduces fellows to the art and science of teaching and to curriculum development with the goal of helping them become more intentional, effective and informed educators. Fellows are introduced to careers in medical education, provided project support/check-in throughout the year, and expected to present a final project at the end of the year. Session topics include:

A secondary certificate program that introduces fellows to research methodologies in medical education. Participants construct, implement and evaluate a curricular innovation, providing a foundation of research skills to enable them to become teaching scholars, contributing to the literature on the best evidence of effective and innovative pedagogies with an overall aim to create publication-ready scholarship. Fellows are introduced to careers in medical education, provided project support/check-in throughout the year, and expected to present a final project at the end of the year.
